The Center for Sustainable Environmental Technologies performs research on a variety of thermochemical technologies including:

• Gasification
• Fast Pyrolysis
• Bio-oil to fuels
• Torrefaction of biomass
• Biochar production for agronomic applications and carbon sequestration nutrient recycling between production agriculture and biofuels manufacturing
